Enjoy your custom private Robben Island and Cape of Good Hope Tour at your own pace and leisure. Your local professional tour guide will introduce you to the wonders of the Robben Island, Cape of Good Hope and the Cape Peninsula.

We start out tour with a visit to Robben Island where we join a guided tour conducted by a former political prisoner of the island's prison. Various heritage sites will be visited like the grave yard of people who died of leprosy, the Maximum-Security Prison, the lime quarry where prisoners labored & a viewing of Mandela's cell.

Taking the coastal road along the Atlantic Ocean, you will have the opportunity to view magnificent white and sandy beaches (Clifton; Camps Bay and Llandudno) and the quaint seaside villages (Hout Bay; Noordhoek).  Rated as one of the most spectacular marine drives in the world, you cross Chapman’s Peak Drive experiencing breath-taking scenery and taking that photo at the best scenic spots. The road eventually leads us to the protected wildlife reserve, the Cape of Good Hope, with the highest sea cliffs and home to the 1 200 species of indigenous plants, various small mammals, antelope, zebras, and even South Africa’s largest bird – the ostrich. Catch a ride on the funicular at Cape Point and view the most south westerly tip of Africa.

We then take a drive along False Bay visiting and stopping at the Penguin Colony Boulder’s Beach to view the African Penguin in its natural habitat. We then head back to Cape Town at our leisure via Simon's Town, Kalk Bay and Muizenburg.

Visibility & fog determines route followed on that day.
